Yemen Covid-19 Appeal

Yemen is facing an emergency within the ongoing war emergency.

Over 85,000 children are severely malnourished and are at risk of imminent death. The spread coronavirus has had a devastating impact on extreme levels of poverty in Yemen.

Peace Matters is raising funds for some of these children.

£10- provides people with bread
£30 – a hygiene kit to a family to protect and cleanse against viruses and bacterias
£50 – food for children in a family for a month
£90 – feeding an entire family for one whole month
£500 – save a malnourished childs life with 6 months of treatment.

Sanitation and clean water are in short supply. Only half of health facilities are functioning and adequate equipment is not available to treat covid19 patients.
