Peace Matters has helped empower girls through education by building a hostel for female students at a secondary school in Tanzania. The hostel caters for girls age 17 to 19 who then progress to higher education. The hostel accommodates up to 120 students. By contributing to the education of a girl we are educating a future household.
We have also been involved in a programme distributing sewing machines to provide an opportunity for individuals to earn a living to help support their families
