Hadith

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, “Which charity is best?”
He replied: “Providing water.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah)

Across the world, millions of families continue to suffer due to severe water shortages. In many regions, women and children walk long distances daily just to collect unsafe water. In some areas, clean water is not accessible at shallow depths, making access even more difficult and costly.

Water Well – £1,500

In areas where water can be reached at standard depths, a donation of £1,500 will fund a complete community water well.

This includes:

  • Site assessment and preparation
  • Drilling at standard depth
  • Installation of hand pump and water system
  • Community access point

This well will provide clean and safe drinking water for an entire community — supporting drinking, cooking, washing, and improving overall health and hygiene.

Deep Water Well – £3,500

In the most water-scarce regions, wells must be drilled 70–100 metres deep to reach underground water sources.

Your donation of £3,500 covers:

  • Specialist deep-drilling equipment
  • Extended labour and excavation
  • Reinforced well structure
  • Installation of durable pumping systems

These areas face extreme drought and severe water shortages. The additional cost reflects the depth, specialist machinery, and technical expertise required to access sustainable water supplies.
