Qur’an

فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ
“So eat from them and feed the distressed and the poor.” (Surah Al-Hajj 22:28)

Hadith

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There is nothing more beloved to Allah on the Day of Eid al-Adha than sacrificing an animal.”
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
