Qur’an

وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ
“And cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:2)

Hadith

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever relieves a believer of distress, Allah will relieve him of distress on the Day of Resurrection.”
