A House of Allah in Korogwe, Tanzania

Through the Peace Matters initiative, we are honoured to share the completion of Masjid Rahmatun-Lil-Al Meen in Korogwe, Tanzania.

This masjid was generously donated by Mohamed Asghar Mughal, Mrs Mussurat Mughal and family, and implemented in partnership with Islamic Help. Their support has provided a lasting gift to an entire community in East Africa.

More Than Bricks and Mortar

In many rural areas of East Africa, communities struggle with limited infrastructure and access to basic facilities. A masjid serves not only as a place of worship, but as the heart of the community.

Masjid Rahmatun-Lil-Al Meen will provide:
• A dedicated space for the five daily prayers and Jumu’ah
• Qur’an education for children and adults
• A safe gathering place for community meetings
• A centre for spiritual development and unity

For generations, this masjid will be a source of guidance, knowledge and peace.

The Reward of Sadaqah Jariyah

Building a masjid is one of the most powerful forms of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity). Every prayer performed, every verse recited, and every child who learns within its walls becomes part of an ongoing reward.

This project reflects the true meaning of “Rahmatun-Lil-Alameen” – mercy to all creation – by strengthening faith and supporting communities in need.

Be Part of the Next Masjid

Peace Matters continues to support masjid construction projects across East Africa. With your help, we can build more houses of Allah in underserved communities.
